Distributed AI Worker · Beta

Overview

Beta programme · Contribute and earn

AI Worker is currently beta software. Features, rewards, availability and compatibility may change, and interruptions or defects should be expected.

Making your hardware available for AI processing will earn you tokens to use for future distributed AI calls. Our longer-term plan is to also provide monetary rewards based on the completed AI jobs performed by your hardware.

Terms of Use and Beta Licence Agreement

Effective 5 August 2026. Please read these terms before making your hardware available.

Beta software notice

The Spin-up AI Worker and distributed worker network are in beta and are provided for evaluation and early participation. The software may contain defects, lose connectivity, process jobs incorrectly, change without notice, or be suspended or discontinued. It is not intended for safety-critical, high-risk or production use requiring guaranteed availability, accuracy, durability or performance.

1. Participation

By installing or operating this beta worker, you receive a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for evaluation and participation in the Spin-up AI network, subject to these terms. You authorise spin-up.ai to send eligible AI-processing jobs to your device during the availability periods you configure. You remain responsible for the device, its security, internet connection, electricity usage, operating costs and compliance with applicable law.

2. Hardware and operational risk

AI processing can place sustained load on processors, graphics hardware, memory, storage, cooling systems and network connections. This may increase electricity consumption, heat, component wear, data usage and operating costs. You are responsible for monitoring your hardware and may pause or stop the worker at any time.

Important limitation and assumption of risk

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you voluntarily assume the ordinary risks associated with operating the worker and contributing computing resources. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties that jobs, tokens, rewards, availability, model output or earnings will meet any particular expectation.

3. Tokens and possible future rewards

Tokens may be awarded for qualifying completed jobs and may be usable for future distributed AI calls, subject to the applicable platform rules. Tokens are not money, legal tender, a deposit, an investment or a guaranteed store of value. Any future monetary reward programme is only a plan and is not promised until separate written programme terms are published.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the worker or platform unlawfully; interfere with platform security; submit malicious, infringing or prohibited content; misrepresent completed work; manipulate rewards; or permit unauthorised access to worker credentials. You must keep worker tokens and local systems secure.

Indemnity

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless spin-up.ai, its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, contractors and service providers from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, damages, penalties and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, unlawful use of the service, infringement of another person’s rights, content or data supplied by you, compromise of systems under your control, or your negligent or wilful acts or omissions. This indemnity does not apply to the extent a loss was caused by conduct for which liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, spin-up.ai will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or economic loss, loss of profit, loss of data, hardware wear, interruption, model output or lost reward opportunities arising from use of the worker. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that applicable law does not permit to be excluded or limited.

6. AI output and data

AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable and must not be treated as professional advice without independent review. Jobs may contain data supplied by other platform users. You may process that data only to perform the assigned job and must not retain, disclose or use it for another purpose.

7. Suspension and changes

During beta, spin-up.ai may change protocols, compatibility, model support, credit calculations, features or availability; reject work; withhold rewards for invalid or fraudulent results; suspend a worker; or discontinue the beta. Material updates should be presented for renewed acknowledgement. Continued participation after an effective update constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.

8. General

These local terms supplement any account, privacy, reward-programme or platform terms published by spin-up.ai. If a mandatory law gives you rights that cannot be waived, those rights prevail.
